Intro to the world

The year is 73 AG, the fire nation is still trying to conquer the world. Avatar Aang will not come back for 37 more years, most of the world has given up hope on any avatar saving them. Rebel groups are most people's only hope at fighting the fire nation, but these groups have mostly been eradicated outside of the earth kingdom. With a shortage of water benders and the air nomads (almost) all dead, there are very few benders who could hope to take a fire bender on in a fight.
